Responsibilities

  • Develop strategies for European data center markets to support business growth

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the real estate industry
  • Bachelor's degree required; in business or real estate
  • At least 5 years of experience in the data center industry, including sales or business development in Cloud, Co-location, Telecom, or Network sectors
  • Proven experience working with enterprise and hyperscale clients
  • Familiarity with co-location and cloud strategy is preferred
  • Master's degree in business or real estate preferred
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Ideal candidates will have a proven history of being extremely self-motivated, highly organised and open communicators who are eager to work in a fast-paced client focused entrepreneurial environment with limited formal structure
  • Ability to organise, interpret, and draw appropriate conclusions from large volumes of data and to creatively present the information in a manner that enables non-financial managers to easily understand the information

The Real Estate Investments Director, Europe, is responsible for leading the strategic direction and execution of real estate investment initiatives across the region. This role oversees portfolio growth, investment management, deal negotiation, and client engagement. The position requires coordination with equity partners, feasibility analysis, due diligence, acquisition and development, and project oversight for all real estate transactions. The incumbent will communicate with and influence the QTS Executive Team and Board regarding real estate decisions.
