- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology or related counseling field required.
- Current Montana LCSW, LCPC or LMFT licensure required. *We will consider an LCPC licensure candidate needing supervision.
- Minimum of 2 years of mental health counseling experience is preferred
- Current CPR certification required as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Possess knowledge of evidence-based practice and experience in assessment, crisis assessment, brief therapies, and clinical case management preferred.
- Ability to analyze, intervene and evaluate a range of psychosocial theory and methods as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Possess knowledge of cultural, ethnic, social, historical and spiritual issues relevant to the provision of mental health treatment as applicable to assigned area(s) preferred.
- Possess a working knowledge of: Psychiatry, Psychology, Social Work, Education, and/or Marriage and Families.
- Experience and/or knowledge of behavioral health disorders and treatment modalities.
- Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
- Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.
- Job Specific Duties:
- Triages referrals from providers and ensures on-going liaison occurs with stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Performs initial and comprehensive assessments, including diagnostic evaluation, risk assessment, behavioral systems, level of care need, and other information necessary to determine treatment as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Performs as part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team, provides consultation, and education services as applicable to assigned area(s).
- Coordinates patient transitions into services and discharges from treatment as applicable to assigned area(s). Coordinates care, admissions, and/or referrals with appropriate stakeholders as applicable to assigned area(s).
