  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for operating company service vehicle).
  • Capability to obtain and retain security clearances for working in government sector facilities.
  • Ability to complete and maintain Working at Heights certification.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
  • Physical capability to perform the demands of the role, including lifting, climbing, and working in various environments.

Additional Information

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Commercial Painter to join our team. In this mobile role, you will travel to various client commercial facilities to provide expert painting, preparation, and finishing services. Our primary focus is on retail commercial buildings, with additional support for other commercial sites across our portfolio. Client locations will primarily be within a service area of southern Ontario in the extended GTA region, extending into areas of Windsor, Niagara, Ottawa, and Orillia. Opportunities to work in a team with multiple technicians on larger renovation projects to provide updates to client facilities by completing interior renovations. Your work will include: Full space interior painting and refinishing (washrooms, lunchrooms, commercial sales spaces, commercial office spaces) Perform light wall and drywall repairs (patching holes, cracks, and minor damage) Surface preparation including cleaning, scraping, sanding, priming, and masking/protecting surrounding areas Apply paint, coatings, and finishes using brushes, rollers, sprayers, and other professional tools to achieve even, durable, and aesthetically pleasing results. Complete final cleanup of work areas, including removing protective coverings, sweeping, dusting, and ensuring sites are left in pristine condition Provide a high-quality, professional paint finish with attention to detail. Keep work areas and facilities clean by sweeping, dusting etc. Identify and report the need for major repairs beyond painting scope.
