Description of Work This Rehabilitation Casework Technician position is located in the Gastonia EIPD Unit Office and will provide administrative and casework support to Rehabilitation Counselors providing services primarily to adults with disabilities residing in Gaston County. This position will also provide back-up casework support to the satellite office in Lincoln County as needed. Job responsibilities include the following: *Interviewing consumers and gathering diagnostic reports to assist counselors with determining eligibility and required services *Assisting counselors with developing written plans of services in conjunction with the consumer, parent and/ or guardian *Documenting casework data and the provision of substantial services throughout the rehabilitation process in the case management system *Assisting with monitoring client progress throughout the service delivery process *Preparing documents, including invoices and billing, filing, scheduling appointment, inputting casework data into the case management system and preparing correspondence to support client services *Working with community employers/partners to assist in directly placing highly qualified individuals in suitable employment settings leading to successful employment outcomes *Providing other support as designated by the counselor and completing all related administrative tasks Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences Salary Grade Range $39,244 - $68,679 Recruitment Range $39,244 - $49,275 **Position is eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule to include weekly onsite work hours** Candidates now meet the minimum qualifications of a position if they meet the minimum education and experience listed on the vacancy announcement.
