Smith and Nephew are seeking a talented Salesforce Marketing Cloud Technical Architect to empower our business operations team. You will be responsible for creating custom software applications on the Salesforce platform that meet our specific requirements for client management and other daily operations. You will also integrate Salesforce with existing systems, ensuring data accuracy and security and providing technical support whenever required. Handling team and client communications, requirement gathering, sprint scoping. Development and unit testing and ensuring the User Stories/enhancement closure within timeline. Working with Business Units to understand marketing campaigns and translate into platform capabilities and built multiple emails using Ampscript to personalize customer specific details. Extensively SQL to segment the data and target audience with relevant campaign based on inclusion criteria. Built multiple emails using AMPscript to personalize customer specific details. Automation of marketing and data management activities with Automation Studio. Configure one to one personalized journey based on customer engagement/preferences using Journey builder. Monitor trends in email marketing, utilize research and metrics to recommend improvements to our email marketing strategy. Work on API Integration with MuleSoft to send subscriber consent. Develop Salesforce Marketing Cloud Campaign including Campaign design, configuration, management and deployment. Hands-on experience in configuring HTML Emails sand cloud pages which include creation of custom preference center and thank you pages. Create Lists and Data Extensions to manage, organize and segment subscriber's data and use publication list to manage opt-ins. AMPScript to personalize communications with the contacts from Data Extensions and Salesforce Objects and subject line personalization. Configure one to one personalized journey based on customer engagement/preferences using Journey builder and Utilized Automation Studio to automate functionalities which include query activities, import activities, file transfers etc. Manage attribute groups and data models. Handling multi-channel marketing campaigns. What will you need to be successful? Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field. 9+ years of demonstrable experience in software development. 7+ years of experience in Marketing Cloud solution designing Extensive hands-on experience and implementation understanding on Cross Channel Campaign Management, Marketing Operations and Analytics in different modules of Marketing cloud like Email Studio, Web Studio, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Contact Builder. Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Flow, Approval processes, Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case, Validation rule, Triggers, Advanced Apex and other Salesforce development technologies. Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools. Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes. Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud. Knowledge of MC Connect (to CRM, DC, MCI, etc) Configure custom build advanced MC web forms (including utm settings, dynamic content, CRM lookup, CRM updates, etc) Advanced knowledge of AMPscript Understanding of and ability to write SSJS, JavaScript Practical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript Build & configure automations for data processing and data import, including data lookup and updates to CRM Build & configure customer Journeys Manage requests for complex journey optimizations Build and test advanced features included in customer journeys, web forms, data integrations Code review and testing (both SIT and UAT) Cross platform skills: Overview of CRM data and understanding of Salesforce CRM platform in general to guide client Understanding of Lead Management, Consent Management and Customer 360-view incl. data points for personalization (segmentation, grading, classification, profiling etc.).
