Data Center Engineer, Associate

Responsibilities

• Support installation, maintenance, and decommissioning of server hardware in data centres
• Perform rack & stack, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting
• Work closely with engineers and vendors on infrastructure projects and upgrades
• Follow SOPs for hardware handling, data sanitisation, and asset tracking
• Support day-to-day operations, ensuring uptime and operational efficiency
• Travel between data centre sites within Singapore when required

Requirements

• 1-2+ years in IT infrastructure / desktop / data centre support
• Basic understanding of server hardware, networking (cabling/connectivity), and data centre environments
• Exposure to rack setups, hardware lifecycle (install/decom), and asset tracking tools
• Awareness of power (PDU/UPS) and cooling concepts (hot/cold aisles)
• Familiarity with ticketing tools (e.g. BMC Remedy) is a plus
• Comfortable working in data centre environments (confined spaces / elevated areas)
• This is an initial 6-months contract that is renewable with permanent visbility.

Additional Information

We are looking for a Data Center Engineer who will be supporting mission-critical infrastructure across Singapore. This is a hands-on role where you will be working directly in the data center environments managing the full hardware lifecycle - from deployment to decommissioning - while collaborating with global engineering teams.
