Supervisory Airspace Management Specialist

About the role

You will serve as a Supervisory Airspace Management Specialist in the NAVAL TEST WING PACIFIC of NAVAIRWARCENWPNDIV CHINA LAKE. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12/14) or pay band (NM-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of Naval Air Training and Operating Procedures Standardization (NATOPS) policy and processes; 2) Utilizing knowledge of Department of Defense aviation policies and processes; 3) Utilizing knowledge of air traffic control and FAA policies and processes; 4) Demonstrated leadership skills, including strong decision making, critical-thinking, and communication skills; 5) Managing and reporting on a budget.
