About the role You will support the Legal Team with general administrative work such as corporate secretarial matters, legal research, updating precedent documents, playbooks and trackers, committee meeting preparation and minute taking. You will also support with the execution of contracts, monitoring and fielding queries sent into the Legal Team inbox and general office administration such as arranging couriers and managing post. Under the supervision of senior members of the Legal Team, you will also have the opportunity to assist with various legal matters including intellectual property matters, trade mark matters, data privacy, the review of marketing copy and assets, drafting and reviewing legal letters and correspondence such as letters of termination, amendments and addendums, drafting and reviewing non-disclosure agreements and other legal agreements such as influencer contracts, Powers of Attorney and renewal contracts, statements of work and drafting terms and conditions for competitions, programmes and promotions. You will assist the lawyers in the team with their day-to-day matters and projects and gain insightful legal experience in a fast-paced commercial environment. Who you will work with As Paralegal you will report directly to the Senior Legal Counsel - Global Procurement. You will be responsible for providing support to the Global Legal Team based in London on a broad range of matters. Working Environment Office based: Central London (hybrid working, office based for 3 days per week). Charlotte Tilbury is a dynamic and fun place to work. About you Prior experience as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, in a similar role. Outstanding communication skills. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint and Outlook, DocuSign, OneDrive and SharePoint. Exemplary organisation skills, with a demonstrable aptitude for time-management and work prioritisation to be able to support a busy Legal Team. Excellent attention to detail. A proactive, flexible and can-do attitude, with a willingness to support multiple members of the Legal Team across a broad range of matters and adapt to changing business priorities. Comfortable taking ownership of administrative and coordination tasks, while escalating appropriately where legal input or supervision is required. The highest levels of discretion, integrity and appreciation of the sensitivity of matters dealt with by a Legal Team and within a high-profile organisation. Experience and understanding of the urgency of legal and regulatory deadlines, and the ramifications if these are not met. Law degree or non-law degree and law conversion qualification from a top university or paralegal qualification from a recognised provider (e.g., CiLEX). Desirable experience & skills Experience working for an international retail business in its Legal Team or at a leading national or international law firm supporting fee earners. Experience managing corporate secretarial matters. Experience of dealing with trade mark matters, data privacy matters and templated legal agreements, with appropriate levels of supervision.
