Requirements

• J.D. degree required.
• Candidates should possess a minimum of six (6) full years of law firm and/or in-house private investment fund work experience.
• The successful candidate should have strong drafting, communication, and organizational skills, as well as demonstrated experience in interpreting legal and business terms.

• Expected annual base salary range:
• $165,000 - $250,000

• Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products; and
• Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials.

Job Description: The successful candidate will work on a variety of legal matters relating to hedge fund, hybrid fund and fund of hedge fund investing and structuring. Primary job responsibilities will include: Structuring, negotiation, and formation of BXMA's commingled and customized funds and portfolio investments. Substantial interaction with BXMA internal business groups (investment, accounting, operations, investor relations) and external clients. Management of external counsel. Negotiation and review of various legal documentation. Ongoing review of industry and regulatory developments to assess any relevant information or risks to BXMA's business.
