Westpoint Transit is looking for Wheelchair Transport/ PWD Electric Bus Driver to join our growing team, who will be in charge of performing and completing daily trips as assigned by the Operations team. The scope of work of this role will be as follows: Safely transport passengers according to assigned schedules and routes Assist passengers with boarding and alighting when required Operate the mechanised wheelchair lift safely and confidently Ensure the comfort, dignity, and safety of wheelchair-bound and special-needs passengers Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain vehicle cleanliness Comfortable operating and driving an Electric Vehicle (EV), including carrying out vehicle charging duties Secure wheelchairs and mobility aids in accordance with safety procedures Report vehicle defects, incidents, and operational issues promptly Comply with all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic regulations We are looking for a candidate with these qualifications: Valid Class 4 Driving Licence (Required) Possess a Bus Driver Vocational Licence (Required) Experience operating PWD-accessible buses is an advantage Familiarity with mechanised wheelchair lifts is preferred Physically fit, as the role requires frequent bending, securing wheelchairs, and assisting passengers during boarding and alighting Patient, caring, and attentive towards passengers who require additional assistance Ability to speak local Chinese dialects (e.g. Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese) is preferred, as many passengers are senior citizens Able to communicate effectively with passengers, caregivers, and stakeholders Good safety record and responsible work attitude Expected Commencement Date: September 2026
