Social Media Editor, Hypegolf

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in social media management (experience with global golf brands is a plus).
• Strong understanding of the golf industry and market trends.
• Passion for golf and local golf culture.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Experience with social media management and analytics tools, with solid numerical literacy.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience in photography and video production/editing.
• Basic content creation skills using Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of Hypebeast and Hypegolf content, both locally and globally.
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across teams and functions.

This role will report to the Global Business Lead of Hypegolf, while working closely with the Global Social Lead at Hypebeast. We are looking for a culturally fluent storyteller and connector with a deep understanding of golf, fashion, footwear, F&B, and the broader cultural landscape surrounding the sport. This role will be instrumental in shaping and growing Hypegolf Japan social strategy through innovative, impactful, and social-first content, combined with authentic storytelling. Working in close collaboration with global social teams as well as regional editorial and brand partnership teams, you will identify, anticipate, and help lead cultural movements-contributing to the growth, reach, and influence of both Hypegolf Japan and Hypebeast Japan.
