Solve business problems and work with cross functional teams to turn recommendations into actions. - Your mantra is "data-driven" growth You believe that data is Unilever's greatest asset - it drives growth, transforms companies and is the biggest bet against disruption - Communicate strategic and operational recommendations to CMI Business Unit Leads, GMs, & Category Leadership teams - Build stories using multiple data sets and synthesize into clear insights; suggest analytical approaches, analyze the data yourself or partner with agencies like Circana/Numerator to tell the story with data - Lead bringing industry experts in to share learnings with the US organization through CMI Perspectives series - Manage Key Metrics reporting across Business Units for the USA - including TO Weighted Market Share, TDP Share, Penetration, etc. This individual will also connect regularly with the Global CMI team to ensure that there is alignment between local and global tools. - Help embed automated, AI-enabled reporting (standardize definitions, validate outputs, and drive adoption across stakeholders) - Help manage rollout of key analytic tools, including price elasticity studies - Partner with specialists in analytics (including but not limited to Pricing, Forecasting, etc) to help guide the marketing team in their business decisions - Stay on top of "new news" within the Performance data space - actively look for opportunities to expand market coverage and find creative solutions to requests from our teams - Be on the forefront of marketplace & shopping forces impacting and shaping the US - working with industry effects to be 'always on' with how retail, digital, and shopper expectations are evolving - Integrates signals across retail performance, shopper data, cultural trends, and competitive activity to define where, why, and how consumers are buying - Partner with the D&T team to ensure core data sets (such as Circana, Numerator, NIQ, etc) are ingested into our data lake at levels needed to support business tools and processes - Manage Research & Data spending and purchase orders What You'll Need To Succeed - Demonstrated high performance, 7-9 years of relevant insights & analytics experience - Prior experience working with core data agencies like Circana, Numerator, and NIQ is critical for this role - Prior experience managing direct reports or consultants - Proven ability to think through problems, provide clear logic, and influence stakeholders with actionable recommendations - Comfortable presenting complex information to senior level audiences - both verbally and in writing - Highly skilled in Excel (Advanced) and affinity for other analytic tools - Project positive attitude with history of dependability, resourcefulness and goal orientation - Passionate, Curious attitude, Strong interpersonal skills, Flexible, and Team player - Undergraduate degree required. Advanced degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Analytics, Economics or Business preferred. - MS Office proficiency required. - Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools (e.g., automation, insights generation) and a growth mindset to learn quickly as new capabilities emerge - Modeling experience welcomed Pay: The pay range for this position is $119,400 to $179,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
