Annual Salary: Set at $100,000Job DescriptionBasic PurposeUnder general direction, administers and directs programs related to the regulation, control and prevention of pollution from oil and gas operations; enforces Commission rules and regulations concerning oil and gas production and environmental protection.Typical FunctionsSupervises the review of geological and engineering data, proposed plans, current operations, closure and reclamation procedures for commercial and noncommercial oil field waste disposal facilities to ensure compliance with existing laws, rules and regulations.Directs the maintenance of required records and reports concerning pollution complaints, hearings and existing injection and disposal wells.Performs related work as required and assigned.Education and ExperienceNOTE: No substitution will be allowed for the three (3) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesSpecial RequirementsApplicants must be willing and able to fulfill all job-related travel normally associated with this position.Additional Job DescriptionThe work location will be in the Oklahoma City office of the Corporation Commission. Core work hours for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission are Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
