About the role
As a Advanced EMC Expert, you will act as a technical authority for electromagnetic compatibility across complex automotive electronic systems. You will define EMC strategies, guide system and hardware architecture decisions, and lead the resolution of complex EMC issues across multiple projects. Responsibilities
- Act as EMC subject-matter expert and technical lead across development projects.

- EMC Schematic and PCB design, mechanical design, grounding system, shielding, return path.
- EMC design and optimization supported by simulation using HFSS, CST, Spice, or other similar tools.
- Lead EMC risk assessments and design reviews from concept to series production.
- Define and oversee EMC validation strategies, including pre-compliance and certification testing.
- Analyze complex EMC issues and drive root cause analysis and mitigation strategies.
- Interface with customers, suppliers, and external test laboratories on EMC topics.
- Support homologation and certification activities (e.g. CE, FCC, ECE R10).
- Mentor and technically coach EMC engineers and hardware developers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement and standardization of EMC methodologies.
- What You Need to Be Successful
- Master's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience in EMC engineering for automotive or complex electronic systems.
- Deep knowledge of international and OEM-specific EMC standards and regulations.
- Proven hands-on experience with advanced EMC measurements and troubleshooting.
- Strong system-level understanding of high-speed interfaces and power distribution concepts.
- Ability to work independently and drive technical decisions across teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience influencing system architecture and platform-level EMC concepts.
- Experience acting as EMC lead or technical authority in large programs.
- Automotive OEM or Tier‑1 supplier background.
- iNARTE EMC certification or equivalent.
