About the role

You will serve as a MAINTENANCE MECHANIC SUPERVISOR in the PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT of NAVAL FAC ENGINEERING CMD WASH. This job has a screen-out element which will be used to determine minimum eligibility for this job. The Screen-out Element for this position is1) Passing on to other workers the instructions received from supervisors and getting work started, e.g., by assigning the immediate tasks to be performed by individual members of the group led; 2) Demonstrating proper work methods; 3) Answering questions and giving guidance to other workers on procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives; 4) Checking work while in progress; and 5) Assuring that safety and housekeeping rules are followed.
