About the role

Our See & Spray Team is looking for a highly motivated Inventory Specialist to deliver the promise of Precision Agriculture to the world's farm fields. In this role, you will collaborate with our team to develop, test, and optimize hardware systems that power our agricultural and construction equipment. We tackle our objectives with multi-functional engineering teams. Our team is empowered to figure out how to overcome challenges and plan and prioritize work; everyone is a key contributor. Employment Type : 6-month contract-to-hire Work Location : Santa Clara, CA. Expect 5 days/week in the office. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Job Responsibilities The main job responsibilities include: Develop inventory control processes and documentation. Perform regular audits to verify inventory accuracy. Assist with item identification, shipment coordination, and finding alternative components when requested items are out of stock. Navigate the Airtable inventory system to locate items, determine item owners, log transactions/team transfers, and update quantities accurately. Ensure inventory space is kept organized, and box quantity labels/locations are up to date and accurate. Receive new items into inventory, assign serial numbers, print labels, and shelve items appropriately. Cross-reference items with purchase orders for correct team assignment. Monitor the inventory space to deter unauthorized item retrieval. Track supply quantities and collaborate with teams to ensure adequate stock levels. Manage bulk orders and coordinate with purchasing and vendors to ensure correct items are ordered. Oversee overstock inventory, manage items stored in the garage, and monitor inventory levels in both spaces. Assist with any preliminary assembly work before systems are stored in inventory. Fulfill daily inventory requests onsite from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring orders placed between 9 AM and 3 PM are completed within 1 hour. Required Experience and Skills 4-6 years of technician experience with a strong background in inventory management. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in inventory management software and systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Experience and Skills Microsoft Office products. Inventory tracking and management. System debugging and testing. Experience with the design and manufacture of inventory systems.
