About the Position: Exercises program responsibility for the planning, review, guidance, coordination, and assessment/improvement of the management process systems regarding matters pertaining to programming, budgeting, funding and progress of the financial programs for mission oriented work programs. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes; Budget planning and/or programming for a division level organization; Leading budget teams; Providing analytical advisory services to senior leaders on budgetary procedures, requirement and/or guidelines; and Conducting analyses of work program components and/or financial requirements to develop budget priorities, plans, and/or resource requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
