About the role
We are in a period of exciting development within the Strategic Planning and Ventures team, striving to achieve a contemporary and integrated service offering to drive the University's ambitious strategic objectives. As a result, we are seeking a Senior Manager, Institutional Performance & Strategy Reporting to lead and continuously evolve the University's institutional performance monitoring and execution capability. This role is ideal for an experienced individual to oversee the KPIs, targets, leading indicators and integrated performance reporting, to support strategic decision making, cross-institutional accountability, governance assurance and evolution of the Sydney in 2032 strategy . Your key responsibilities will be to: own and develop the institutional approach to performance monitoring, aligned with the 2032 Strategy lead the institutional KPI target‑setting process in partnership with senior academic and professional leaders lead and assure all institutional performance reporting to the University Executive, Senate and Senate Committees translate complex data into clear, compelling and decision‑relevant insight for senior audiences sponsor and oversee the design and implementation of automation and AI‑enabled solutions analyse and interpret performance trends, risks and trajectory gaps, providing clear advice on strategic implications. About you extensive working experience in a strategic planning and strategy design function within a large and complex organisation strong communication and influencing skills to deliver complex messaging to various audiences highly developed relationship management skills and the ability to operate with a high degree of tact and professionalism proven capability in designing tangible outcomes from strategic ideas and concepts strong experience utilising analytics platforms and developing insights to drive revenue and/or enhance performance demonstrated experience in driving the adoption of advanced analytics and AI tools to improve insight generation, forecasting and identification of performance risks and opportunities an agile and flexible approach that is able to pivot and contribute to overall program success.
