Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of accounting andfinance operations of the Company.
- Manage and maintain a full set of accounts, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliation and month-end closing.
- Establish, implement and maintain accounting systems, finance policies, internal controls and financial reporting procedures.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, management reports and other finance-related reports for management review.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing within stipulated deadlines.
- Analyze financial performance, budget variances,cash flow position and key financial data to support management decision-making.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, GST requirements and statutory reporting obligations.
- Handle corporate tax, GST filing, annual auditand other statutory submissions in a timely manner.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors, taxagents, banks, government authorities and other external stakeholders.
- Review accounting records, supporting documentsand financial transactions to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
- Work closely with management and internal departments on finance-related matters and business support.
- Supervise and guide finance team members, whereapplicable.
- Undertake any other finance, accounting orad-hoc duties assigned by the Company from time to time.
- Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline, professional qualificationsuch as ACCA or CPA .
- Minimum5 to 8 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably withexperience in handling full set of accounts.
- Prior experience in a managerial, supervisory or senior finance role will bepreferred.
- Strong knowledge of GST, corporate tax, audit and statutory compliance requirements.
- Able to handle month-end closing, financial reporting, budgeting and forecastingindependently.
- Proficientin Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Stronganalytical, numerical, problem-solving and reporting skills.
- Detail-oriented,responsible and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise withinternal and external stakeholders.
- Able to work independently while also being a strong team player.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Mandarin will be an advantage for liaising with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, where required.
