A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively responsible duties in the receipt, disbursement, examination, deposit, custody or other processing of cash items. Where duties involve selling alcoholic beverages applicant must meet state/local age requirements for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment. Skill in providing customer service. Ability to communicate effectively. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": At least 6 months of work experience in a blowing environment (such as working at a bowling facility or participating in organized blowing activities like leagues or tournaments. At least 6 months of customer service experience working directly with the public, handling transactions, and assisting customers. Be able and willing to work a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and evening shifts, specifically from 2:00PM to 11:00PM. Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. Government positions must include pay plan, series, grade, to and from dates, and government agency/department. Applicants who meet both the minimum qualifications and highly qualifying criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first. Management may subsequently request to review a referral list of all minimally qualified applicants.
