About the role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Designer (Technical Architect) to drive the architecture and solution design for our Digital Miniapps Platform under Digital Payments Hub. This role will focus on building scalable, high-performance, and modular applications that power digital ecosystems through micro-frontends and microservices. YOUR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Solution Design & Architecture: Critically analyse business requirements and systems to design enterprise-grade solutions that balance technical excellence, security, scalability, and business value. Create comprehensive design artifacts, architectural diagrams, and technical documentation that guide implementation teams. Technical Leadership & Proof of Concept: Apply systems thinking and design thinking methodologies to assess impacts across the ecosystem. Undertake proof-of-concept builds when required to validate architectural decisions and de-risk implementation. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Effectively communicate complex technical concepts and design decisions to diverse audiences including Heads of Technology, Engineering Managers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, Quality Engineering Teams, and Technology Executives. Serve as a trusted advisor who can translate between business and technical domains. Platform Advocacy & Strategic Influence: Champion platform-thinking principles by designing reusable, extensible solutions that drive consistency and efficiency across the organization. Provide strategic input to Technology Leadership on architectural direction, technical debt, and platform evolution. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE Experience of 5+ years in application design and 10+ years in Technology generally. Strong stakeholder management and English communication skills. Familiar with micro-frontend concepts, strong understanding of microservices architecture in complex environments and their design patterns Experience in Typescript, JavaScript frameworks (especially NodeJS & ReactJS) , and backend programming languages such as Java, Golang, ... Familiar with GraphQL and API schema design , integration patterns (REST, event-driven systems) Understanding of DevOps including the knowledge of testing automation, cloud (AWS/Azure) services is highly desired Strong understanding of Application Security
