Pay Range $82,700.00-$113,700.00 Annual This is the base salary pay range that an applicant can expect to make upon hire. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors. In addition, this position is eligible for an incentive bonus. The Sr. Plant Cost Analyst will play a critical operational and strategic role supporting our Scottsboro, AL facility , serving as a key member of the operations leadership team. This position will directly influence plant performance by driving financial visibility, and enabling data‑based decisions. You will lead the development and execution of financial processes that improve cost structure, strengthen operational discipline, and enhance overall plant profitability. This includes establishing consistent cost‑accounting practices, supporting capital investment evaluations, identifying cost‑out opportunities, and spearheading performance‑improving initiatives across the platform. This role offers the opportunity to make an immediate and highly visible impact-ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of operations, finance, and strategy . Drive Operational Performance Provide full financial partnership to plant leadership, ensuring operational decisions are grounded in accurate, timely, and actionable financial insights. Lead operational performance deep dives to uncover drivers of variance, waste, and inefficiency, and recommend improvement actions with measurable outcomes. Build and enhance financial KPIs for plant performance, ensuring accountability and alignment to operational goals. Own Financial Execution Lead detailed capital and expense tracking ensuring projects meet financial targets and timelines. Review, analyze, and project facility spend, ensuring disciplined cost management across operations. Oversee monthly forecasts and annual operating plans Manage accurate month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis. Strengthening Cost Structure Assist with development and optimization of BOMs, routings, and standards to ensure true cost visibility. Partner with operations to identify and drive cost‑reduction opportunities, working capital improvements, and productivity gains. Support procurement activities that influence cost position and financial returns. Improve Processes & Systems Design, implement, and improve financial processes to support a high‑performing, scalable operations model. Partner with BPS/IT to troubleshoot system issues, support SAP integration, and streamline data workflows. Expand Your Scope After establishing strong performance in Scottsboro, responsibilities will grow to include support for additional manufacturing sites across the platform. What You Bring to the Team Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting with 7+ years of experience, including at least 2 years in manufacturing cost accounting. Proven analytical and leadership capability with the ability to influence operational partners. Strong communication skills and a process‑driven mindset. Experience with SAP/ERP, forecasting, and close cycles. Ability to thrive in both office and plant‑floor environments. Commit to an in-office schedule Monday-Friday with some travel throughout the year, less than 10 days per year.
