Responsibilities
- Prioritizing daily tasks

- Effectively, timely, and respectfully communicate and interact with other employees, supervisors, individuals from other organizations, and customers
- General housekeeping of the plant and surrounding areas
- Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements and safe handling practices as required from Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and company procedures
- Follow WHMIS, MSDS and all other safety training requirements and procedures
- Follow all government and regulatory requirements when handling and transporting chemical materials
- Fostering a positive work environment
- Regular and sustained attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed
Requirements
- 0-2 years of manufacturing or production experience
- 0-2 years of sit-down forklift experience [prior certification preferred]
- Ability to read and interpret documents (i.e., safety rules, operating, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate well with the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, employees, contractors, vendors, customers, and senior leaders.
- Proficient with writing routine reports and correspondences
- Experience troubleshooting and solving practical problems with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Demonstrated experience adhering to deadlines
- Knowledge of tools and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Working knowledge of ISO, OSHA, and EPA regulations preferred
- A professional and positive attitude
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
- Standing and /or walking a minimum of 6 hours of an 8-hour shift.
- Specific vision requirements include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
- Experience in the Coatings Removal industry a plus!
- ED UCATION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
