About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN in the GROUND ELECTRONICS DIVISION of NAS KEY WEST. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Performing repairs on Air Traffic Control Systems to minimize aviation hazards; 2) Determining tolerances of electronic system and related equipment devices as prescribed within FAA maintenance procedures and policies; 3) Applying technical methods, principles and practices to solve complex technical problems; 4) Testing, analyzing results and preparing performance reports of electronic systems and equipment; 5) Training electronic technicians to ensure repairs are completed in accordance with procedures and policies while maintaining a safe environment; 6) Preparing maintenance budgets to include justifying and supporting funding requests and unfunded requirements to support mission.
