Responsibilities

  • Drive the Public Benefit Report in the Editorial Manager's absence, ensuring that key deadlines are met and content ladders up to company goals

  • Conduct interviews to extract source content

  • 4-6 years of professional experience in journalism, writing, or communications with a portfolio that demonstrates your ability

Position type: Hourly, Full-time Contract type: 1099 Independent contractor Location: Remote (U.S.based) Contract duration: 6 months with possible extension Position summary Nava is seeking an experienced writer to support our Editorial team while the Editorial Manager is on sabbatical leave. Though temporary to start, our hope is for this individual to transition from a long-term contract to full-time Editorial Lead role. Your primary responsibility will be project-managing, writing, and editing Nava's annual Public Benefit Report . This role is on the Editorial team, embedded within the Communications team. In addition to driving the Public Benefit Report, you'll work with people across the company to tell clear, compelling stories that demonstrate Nava's impact and approach for external audiences.
