Apprentice Brewer

Responsibilities

• Assisting with wort production using our 70HL Moeschle brewhouse system.
• Supporting fermentation monitoring and finished product transfers.
• Assisting with quality control checks throughout the brewing process.
• Learning yeast management procedures and brewery best practices.
• Maintaining accurate brewing, packaging, and production records.
• Cleaning and sanitising brewery and packaging equipment in line with hygiene standards.
• Assisting with packaging beer into cask, keg and other formats.
• Supporting stock control activities and general brewery operations.
• Following all health, safety, quality and hygiene procedures.
• About You
• The ideal candidate will have:
• A genuine interest in brewing and the beer industry.
• A willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift and move heavy loads safely.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• A full UK driving licence.
• The following would be advantageous, but are not essential:
• Previous experience in manufacturing, food production, hospitality, warehouse, or brewery environments.
• Experience using the BREWW brewery management system.
• Forklift licence.
• HACCP qualifications.
• IBD qualifications.
• No previous brewing experience is required as full training will be provided.
