Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine patient needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and agency standards. Provide therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Educate patients and families on communication strategies, compensatory techniques, and safe swallowing practices. Assess and document patient progress, modifying treatment plans as clinically appropriate. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care and optimal outcomes. Communicate effectively with clients, families, caregivers, and physicians. Maintain compliance with all legal, ethical, and professional standards. Degree from an accredited SLP program. Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Michigan. CPR certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
