Warehouse Specialist

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, Life Sciences, or related field is preferred
• Approximately 5 years of logistics or supply chain experience, preferably within CDMO, biotech, pharma, or life sciences industries
• Solid experience with international shipping, customs clearance, and freight forwarder management
• Familiarity with regulated environments (GMP/GDP)
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline
• Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities independently
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Please note that this role is a full-time onsite role in Pennington, New Jersey. The estimated Pay range for the role is $65000 - $75000 annually

Job Scope: The position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor and will support warehouse raw material and finish products functions. Individuals in this role should be extremely detail oriented and possess good problem-solving skills. It is also expected that warehouse specialist has adequate physical strength to successfully unload shipments. Essential responsibilities: Coordinate domestic and international shipments for raw materials, intermediates, drug substance, and drug product Manage freight forwarders and carriers; monitor shipment status and proactively resolve issues Prepare, review, and maintain shipping and customs documentation Support temperature-controlled, time-sensitive, and high-value shipments Ensure logistics activities comply with GMP/GDP requirements and internal SOPs Work closely with Manufacturing, QA, QC, Procurement, and Project teams to align shipment schedules Track logistics costs and support cost control and optimization initiatives
