Housekeeping Assistant - Part-Time

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, iron and distribute residents' personal clothing and household linen to a high standard
• Maintain accurate labelling and organisation of residents' clothing and belongings
• Operate laundry equipment safely and effectively, following all procedures and guidelines
• Monitor stock levels of laundry and cleaning supplies and report any requirements
• Follow infection prevention and control procedures at all times
• Support the cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas as required
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items and health and safety concerns
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for residents
• Work as part of a team to support the smooth running of the service
• About you
• You will take pride in your work and understand the importance of providing a high-quality service that supports residents' dignity, comfort and wellbeing. You'll be reliable, organised and have excellent attention to detail, ensuring clothing and linen are cared for and returned correctly.
• Previous laundry, housekeeping or cleaning experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided. Most importantly, you'll understand the positive impact a clean, fresh and well-maintained environment has on the people we support.
