As a Software Systems Engineer based in Riyadh, you will design, build, test, and maintain robust software and system solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You'll help deliver on-time releases while improving performance, scalability, and reliability across production services. Job Purpose Ensure high-quality, stable production software by applying sound system design, scalable architecture, automated testing and CI/CD practices, and continuous performance optimization. Enable teams to ship features reliably and efficiently in Riyadh operations. Job Duties and Responsibilities Software design & architecture Programming (Java/Python/JavaScript) APIs & microservices development Databases (SQL/NoSQL) Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) CI/CD & automation Automated testing (unit/integration) System performance tuning & scalability Problem-solving & analytical thinking Version control (Git) Clear communication & technical documentation Required Qualifications Strong programming skills in Java/Python/JavaScript Experience building and integrating APIs and microservices Proficiency with SQL and/or NoSQL databases Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) Practical CI/CD pipeline and automation experience Testing experience (unit and integration) and maintaining low-defect services System design experience with reliability and performance/scalability focus Version control proficiency (Git) Ability to document architecture and technical decisions
