About the role

Overview of the Role The Authorised Manager will lead the day-to-day running of Nuveen Asset Management Europe S.à r.l. a Luxembourg MiFID firm authorized for Distribution of Funds, Portfolio Management and Investment Advice. The candidate will also support with the coordination of international projects led by the OCOO. This is a key hire and requires the person in the role to engage with directors, key business stakeholders and international colleagues. The successful candidate will implement and oversee processes, play a key role in oversight and provide broader business support. Nuveen Asset Management Europe S.à r.l. is a strategically important entity for the business with branches in Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Italy and the Netherlands and its expected growth will provide further growth opportunities. Key responsibilities will include : Support the Day-to-Day Running of Nuveen Asset Management Europe S.à r.l. Company governance Be one of the Authorised Manager responsible for administration, domiciliation, complaints handling as well as finance and IT Oversight and monitoring of distribution related marketing and product governance activities undertaken by the Company and its branches Member of dedicated governance committees monitoring the activities undertaken by the Company and its branches Branch oversight Coordinate and supervise the activities performed within the branches Regularly visit the network of the Company's branches Implement firm expansion plans in Europe Coordination of international ad hoc strategy, operations or regulatory-driven projects Planning and management of projects by defining goals, setting timelines and resolving roadblocks Gather and analyse information, formulate hypotheses and develop and communicate recommendations Provide businesses with facts and analyses that outline solutions and drive change.
