M&E Manager

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Building Services. Professional Engineer (PE) board recognition is preferred
• Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in the building and construction industry.
• Proficiency in design and coordination software such as AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and BIM (Building Information Modeling).
• Accreditations like Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) or Resident Engineer (RE) are highly advantageous

Additional Information

Oversees the planning, design, installation, and commissioning of M&E systems in construction and engineering projects Ensure systems like HVAC, plumbing, and electrical power are delivered safely, on time, and comply with local authority standards. Review M&E drawings, schematics, and shop drawings to ensure they align with architectural and structural requirements. Lead on-site M&E teams, structural engineers, and subcontractors. Resolve any technical conflicts or clashes on site. Oversee the testing and commissioning of M&E systems prior to client handover. Ensure all works meet the compliance standards and codes of local bodies like the Building and Construction Authority (BCA), Energy Market Authority (EMA), and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF). Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors regarding M&E issues, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
