We combine theoretical learning with practical experience, supported by rotations across the Insurance & Asset Management Technology business lifecycle. You will learn application and technology architecture processes such as analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and also gain exposure to operations, maintenance, and support of live production environments. The Systems Analyst will utilize various technologies to give our business a competitive edge. Common technologies include Java, Python, Angular, Go, C, C#, C++, Salesforce, Murex, Calypso, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, SQL databases (Oracle, Sybase, MS SQL Server, Mongo), MATLAB, Git, Bitbucket, JIRA, Confluence and the suite of AWS and Microsoft enterprise tools like Power Automate and Copilot which are increasingly becoming more relevant as our ecosystem evolves Upon finishing the graduate program, you will possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and experience to begin your career and potentially join Insurance & Asset Management Technology, where you can contribute to the success of the overall Standard Bank Group. Post Graduate qualification (completed or completing in 2026) : Computer Science Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Electronic Engineering Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Financial Mathematics Statistics Informatics, Information Systems Software Development Software Engineering Data Engineering Data Science Quantitative Risk Management MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Must be a South African citizen Must be under 30 years of age Maximum of two years work experience Minimum of 65% average over all years of study KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES Working collaboratively with others Resilience Creative problem solving and considered decision making Curiosity and willingness to learn Positive attitude and self confidence Business acumen PROGRAMME DURATION: 12 Months APPLICATIONS CLOSE: 30 June 2026
