Responsibilities
- Ensure that the property maintains an exceptional curb appeal by keeping the community grounds and buildings clean and properly maintained.
- Clear trash, debris, and animal waste from grass, sidewalks, parking lots, and all community areas daily.
- Sweep and clean sidewalks, hallways, and breezeways; wash down entryways and parking areas where spills or stains are visible.
- Maintain a safe, tidy, and sanitary clubhouse, office, model, hallways, and all other common areas, including restocking restroom supplies.
- Ensure that the grass and landscaping are well maintained, including watering and weeding flowerbeds and pruning shrubs seasonally.
- Clear snow and ice from walkways, entrances, and stairs during winter months and apply salt or de-icing chemicals as needed.
- Perform light maintenance tasks such as replacing lightbulbs, tightening screws, and assisting the maintenance team with small repairs as needed.
- Inspect outdoor lighting and HVAC filters in common areas and report any issues to the property manager.
- Power wash exterior common areas such as patios, pool decks, and sidewalks on a monthly basis.
- Greet residents and visitors with a friendly demeanor and respond to inquiries or concerns promptly, escalating to the property manager as needed.
- Maintain a log of completed tasks and report safety hazards or maintenance needs to the property manager.
- Assist with basic repairs and other general maintenance duties.
- Consistently and genuinely demonstrate exemplary principles of customer service and teamwork.
- Participate in Redstone training as required.
- EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Relevant industry experience (janitorial or cleaning)
- Demonstrated experience completing daily tasks with little or no oversight
- Must have a friendly demeanor
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs. and work 4-6 hour standing shifts
