Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Prepare, develop, and update 2D and 3D technical drawings for mechanical and civil works related to a potable water treatment plant.
• Produce detailed drawings including layouts, sections, details, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with engineering teams to ensure accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project specifications.
• Revise drawings based on design changes, site feedback, and technical comments.
• Ensure all drawings follow applicable standards, codes, and project drafting procedures.
• Support multidisciplinary coordination between mechanical, civil, and structural components.
• Manage drawing files, revisions, and document control in an organized manner.
• Diploma or technical qualification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field .
• Proven experience as a Draftsman on infrastructure, industrial, or water-related projects.
• Solid experience in both mechanical and civil drafting .
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (including AutoCAD 3D) .
• Working knowledge of Revit (3D modeling and coordination).
• Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering designs and specifications.
• Experience in potable water treatment plant drafting is an advantage but not mandatory .

• Ability to work under time pressure and meet urgent deadlines.
• Good communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working in a fast-paced project environment.
• Familiarity with international engineering and drafting standards is an advantage.
