Department/Unit: CDT Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: $146,542.00 - $234,467.00 Executive Director CDT Purpose: This position is responsible for implementing CDT's vision with overall leadership in financial, clinical and administrative operations. Essential Job Functions: Develops long-term vision and short-term goals for CDT in collaboration with key staff members, governing board members, advisory board members, and Albany Medical College administration. Directs key staff members to create and implement policies and procedures that effectively assist the organization in achieving maximum operational results in clinical, financial and administrative areas. Ensures and documents that CDT is in compliance with applicable local, state and federal guidelines, laws and regulations. Facilitates continuous performance improvement by participating in and promoting CDT's CQI committee, staff and board training programs, and continuing education for self, management and staff-development. Represents CDT at local, regional, and national levels, serving on boards, committees and attending conferences as applicable. Meets regularly with leadership staff, providing feedback and management development; conducts annual performance reviews of all direct reports. Facilitates the effective utilization of resources (human, financial, and material) by translating organization mission and goals into operational priorities and policies. Oversees the CDT budget process in collaboration with the Finance Manager, Albany Medical College administration, and the governing board. Collaborates with Albany Medical Center's management team, medical directors and hospital administrations in CDT's designated service area (Upstate New York and Vermont) to ensure programs, processes and procedures are implemented to maximize organ and tissue donation. Ensures CDT maintains compliance with accreditation standards as defined by the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO). Ensures CDT is a member in good standing with the Organ Procurement and Transplant Network (OPTN).
