About the role

What You Can Expect : Key Responsibility Areas: Compile estimates according to client and agent requirements for all transport modes both imports and exports Request landside and freight charges from agents and service providers worldwide Ensure that the estimate charges correspond to client rates in CargoWise and Forwarding Instructions Forward estimate to the relevant senior estimator to quality check Communicate buy and sell rates to operations Maintenance of Client rates and ensures all rate schedules are updated Complete tender according to client and agent requirements for all transport modes both imports and exports Rate negotiations with carrier / Agents on current tenders to ensure best possible price with a marginable profit Attend to any estimate or rate queries What You Bring: Knowledge & Experience: Matric or Senior Certification equivalent High level of Computer literacy Basic knowledge of all transport modes - Air, Ocean, and Road Minimum of 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding and Clearing Skills & Attributes: Communication Skills Project Management Skills Ability to work under pressure Ability to integrate with team members and a team environment Sense of initiative
