Job Summary Research Accountabilities: - Conduct clinical sports medicine research using patients within the Memorial Hermann Health System and/or it partners - Perform research activities including, but not limited to; protocol development, grant proposals, data collection, data analysis, manuscript writing and presenting - Accountable to the Director of Research - Clinical duties accountable to the respective Clinic Manager/Director consistent with the duties described for that respective healthcare field - Teaching and mentoring in the Memorial Hermann Sports and Orthopedic Residencies and/or Fellowships - Prepare research studies and manage clinical datasets to include statistical analysis - Pursue national/international orthopedic publications and presentations in peer-reviewed journals and professional organizations - Work with research staff to manage submission to the Internal Review Board and Memorial Hermann's Study Review panel for study accreditation - Provide mentorship to Memorial Hermann employees involved in Clinical Research - Pursue funding for de novo research projects/programs
