Laboratory Technician - Organics

About the role

As a result of our continued growth and the dedication of our team, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Technician to join ALS Water's Organics team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will receive training and support in the technical components and procedures of the role and in a wide variety of processes associated with working in a modern laboratory. We're looking for a strong collaborative team approach, the ability to multitask effectively, and a strong commitment to working efficiently. This is a full-time, permanent role - Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:40pm (with some flexibility) The Day to Day Preparation and analysis of water and soil samples in accordance with ALS Quality Work Instructions. Interpretation of results and LIMS system entry Completing tasks accurately, within set timeframes and to the relevant analysis standard. Organising daily work to optimise efficiency and meet turnaround requirements Maintaining equipment, including calibration and cleaning Contributing to a clean, tidy and organised lab environment The Essentials Experience in a high throughput, client-focused environment - ideally with commercial laboratory exposure Good knowledge of Chemistry and demonstrated competency in lab skills Effective written and verbal communications.
