  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to create a safe and positive work environment
  • Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively.
  • Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds
  • Completion of any automotive or HD technician apprenticeship training is preferred.
  • A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner & comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and procedures

  • This posting is for a static afternoon shift; Monday - Thursday, 10 hours per shift
  • Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement

Job Description: Perform disassembly, assist with failure analysis, component/part inspection, and complete assembly of heavy equipment engines Determine the reusability of parts for all non-standard jobs Utilize documentation such as service letters and service magazines to ensure compliance to current OEM standards; work within the repair and return setting to meet customer requirements regarding additional salvage opportunities, expanded parts re-use, and accurate parts and labour quotation Work with the Technical Services team to help prepare parts for the purpose of diagnosing component failures Review and process documentation per company standards and be able to understand and follow scopes of repair for each process step
