Senior Consultant, Private Equity

Responsibilities

• Support the continued growth and development of the Private Equity team
• Deliver high-quality client service through accurate and timely execution of all deliverables
• Manage team workloads effectively to ensure deadlines and SLAs are consistently met
• Review and oversee the completion of NAVs and valuations
• Enhance client reporting processes and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide coaching, training, and ongoing support to team members
• Promote a positive, respectful, and high-performing team culture
• Ensure strong risk awareness and adherence to internal controls
• Act as a key point of contact for clients and external auditors, managing queries effectively
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and client reporting deadlines
• Support team development, providing regular and constructive feedback
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, including offshore team development and process automation (Investran)
• Assist in delivering on departmental goals and strategic priorities
• Support onboarding of new clients, including fund structures and reporting requirements
• Communicate effectively with clients, investors, and stakeholders
• Stay informed on industry, market, and regulatory developments

Requirements

• Qualified accountant with extensive post-qualification experience
• Strong knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS
• Understanding of Irish regulatory and tax requirements relevant to fund accounting
• Experience in, or strong interest in, Private Equity Fund Administration
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
• Strong client service mindset
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work to tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset
• Proficient in MS Excel and comfortable with systems/process improvement initiatives
• Experience driving efficiencies and automation in processes
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clearly and confidently at all levels
