Responsibilities
- Data Acquisition, Transformation & Integration
- Design, develop, and enhance complex ETL workflows to acquire, transform, and load data from diverse source systems into enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake

- Use Control-M to schedule, orchestrate, and monitor ETL jobs and dependencies
- Governance, Security & Compliance
- Apply data governance, security, and access control standards within ETL design and execution
- Maintain metadata, documentation, and operational run books for all ETL assets
- Support audit, regulatory, and compliance requirements through repeatable and well-documented data pipelines
- Ensure audit trails and reconciliation controls are embedded within ETL processes
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Translate business and reporting requirements into detailed ETL technical designs
- Work closely with data designers, MI/reporting teams, and platform engineers
- Support production deployments
- Mentor junior ETL developers
- Required Skills & Experience
- Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Ab Initio, Matillion, DataStage (or equivalent enterprise ETL platforms)
- Advanced SQL skills with performance tuning experience
- Experience working with Snowflake as an enterprise data warehouse
- Solid grasp of data modeling concepts , including star schema and dimensional modeling
- Experience with job scheduling and orchestration using Control-M
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) for data solutions
- Governance & Data Management
- Knowledge of data governance , metadata management , and data security standards
- Ability to design and detail out end-to-end data flows ensuring lineage
- Experience embedding data quality and reconciliation controls in ETL pipelines
Requirements
