Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities for RFID label manufacturing operations

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership or production supervisory role
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Prior manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, production, or machine operator experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience supervising production operators in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Experience in electronics manufacturing, RFID, labels, printing, semiconductor, medical device, or related high-volume manufacturing environments preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working in a startup or rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to balance urgency with attention to detail and quality
  • Familiarity with production metrics, lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and manufacturing reporting systems
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work on the production floor for extended periods
  • Ability to work second shift hours
  • Experience supporting automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment
  • Exposure to ERP systems
  • Experience with quality systems and root cause analysis methodolog

Position Summary Trackonomy is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead a team of approximately two to three production operators for the second shift (2 pm - 10 pm) responsible for manufacturing RFID labels and smart tracking products at our North Carolina facility. This role is ideal for a strong floor leader who thrives in a fast-paced startup manufacturing environment and can drive safety, quality, output, and continuous improvement while maintaining high team engagement and accountability. The Production Supervisor will work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Account Management and Operations leadership to ensure production goals and customer commitments are met.
