Responsibilities

- International Relocations & Remote Work: Lead the end-to-end process for international employee relocations and consult on cross-border remote work requests, partnering with Tax, Legal, and PBPs to assess compliance risk and operational feasibility across ST's global entities.
- Business Travel Compliance: Own the company's business travel compliance framework, including visa requirements, work permit triggers, and permanent establishment risk, ensuring employees and managers have clear, accessible guidance before travel occurs.
Requirements
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Global Mobility or Immigration, with a track record of program leadership and operational design.
- Strategic Resourcefulness: A proven ability to scale a function through creative delivery models, including the effective use of outsourcing and flexible staffing.
- Functional Depth: Comprehensive knowledge of US and Canadian immigration law, with a strong grasp of international mobility compliance and tax risk.
- Forward-Thinking Mindset: Experience (or a high degree of comfort) using AI and automation tools to solve for high-volume operational challenges.
- Communication & Influence: The ability to consult at an executive level, providing clear, risk-based recommendations on complex talent and compliance issues.
- System Proficiency: Advanced experience with Workday and specialized case management platforms.
- Systems Thinking: The ability to look at a manual compliance problem and solve it at the root through system triggers rather than more audits.
