As the FLT Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the FLT operations, overseeing a dedicated team of forklift operators, and ensuring smooth and safe material handling throughout our facility. Your leadership will drive high standards of safety, productivity, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the FLT team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of forklift trucks within the warehouse and production areas. Schedule and coordinate daily FLT activities to support production and despatch requirements. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies related to forklift operations. Conduct regular safety checks and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and hazards. Provide training and guidance to FLT operators to develop their skills and promote best practices. Liaise with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues. Working hours: Dayshift Proven experience as an FLT operator with previous supervisory or team leader responsibilities. Valid forklift truck license and thorough knowledge of FLT safety regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities. Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
