Responsibilities

  • Located in our Byron Center office, our Cabinet Specialists work in partnership with our customers and suppliers delivering superior products. This team serves as a call center for our Michigan market. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Entering order received via e-mail, US Mail, fax or phone into ERP system
  • Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy and timeliness of customer orders
  • Processing customer returns and vendor credits where necessary
  • Creating vendor purchase orders as needed to fulfill customer orders and to maintain the cabinetry stocking inventory programs
  • Working closely with the Outside Sales Team and assisting with new dealer training, product update communication, etc.
  • Scheduling vendor delivery trucks and communicating to Warehouse Manager
  • Full support for all cabinet brands
  • Participating in vendor training events
  • Maintaining the organization and cleanliness of the office work areas and other areas as assigned by the Customer Service Manager
  • Assisting with other tasks and projects as requested by leadership
  • REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
  • High School diploma/GED required
  • College degree preferred
  • 2-5 years' experience in a professional customer service environment required
  • Prior cabinetry program knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Prior kitchen design experience preferred along with 20/20 design
  • REQUIRED SKILLS
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Friendly, professional demeanor
  • Dependable
  • Ability to work cooperatively with fellow employee owners
  • Ability to effectively move between a variety of tasks
  • Ability to productively manage tasks and complete work accurately and in a timely manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Desire to learn and grow and assist in the execution of continuous improvement initiatives
