Responsibilities
- Support Polaris quality initiatives and programs as required.
- Lead and support Quality auditors and Technicians on assembly quality issues.
- Participate or lead failure analysis, root cause and corrective action investigations.
- Manage and report on internal process quality metrics; identify opportunities for continuous improvement and lead improvement initiatives.
- Communicate process issues/problems/concerns to Quality and Operations leadership.
- Generate quality instructions and/or procedures as needed to contain quality issues or to assist with process validations.

- Conduct and/or support internal audits and product transfers as needed.
- Perform process capability studies.
- Experience and Skills:
- Three (3) or more years of experience in Quality, Manufacturing, Process Engineering or equivalent field required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lead technicians in inspection methods for assembly quality processes.
- Strong process improvement skills Kaizen, Six Sigma, Control Plans, Print reading skills.
- Experience and knowledge of how to properly read and decipher GD&T.
- Leadership experience with hourly employees.
- Must be a self-starter and able to work independently without supervision.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Science, Engineering, Operations or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
