Location: Neapolis University Pafos About the Department of Economics and Business The Department of Economics and Business is one of three departments in NUP's School of Economics, Business, and Computer Science. We are a supportive and collegial team, with 18 full-time faculty members and several part-time faculty members. The Department offers and contributes to a wide range of programs including: A Bachelor of Business Administration (BScBA) degree and a Bachelor of Digital Business (BScDB). Ten conventional and distance-learning postgraduate programs. A joint Ph.D. with Co-Supervision in Business Administration in collaboration with the Department of Business Administration, University of Piraeus. A strong portfolio of research is being developed, and the Department has high ambitions in this domain of work. Job Description The Department of Economics and Business at Neapolis University Pafos (NUP) invites applicants for full-time appointments: Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor) in Management/Entrepreneurship (all areas) Lecturer/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor in Applied Economics Candidates will maintain an active research agenda (high quality publications are expected, certainly Scopus-indexed as a minimum), while teaching up to four courses per academic semester in this position. We focus on developing a good relationship with our students and to this end our classes are generally less than 40 students. The candidates will teach Management/Entrepreneurship and Economics courses respectively from within the undergraduate and graduate courses offered on campus in Pafos, Cyprus. For the Applied Economics positions, knowledge of Econometrics and positions is required. The candidates are expected to make a strong ongoing service contribution to the Department, School, University, and/or the broader community. The preferred starting date is the 1 st of September 2026. Qualifications and Experience: The Department of Economics and Business at NUP seeks applicants to undertake applied research in the areas of Management/Entrepreneurship/Economics. A demonstrated strong potential for excellence in scholarly research and teaching is required. For these positions, applicants should normally have a doctorate in Management/Entrepreneurship or in Economics. PhD candidates who are close to completion will also be considered. These positions entail conducting quality research and teaching, as well as engaging with the industry. Application Process Interested applicants must submit the following: Cover letter. Language: Excellent knowledge of Greek (strongly desirable). Excellent knowledge of English (essential - both verbal & written).
