Junior Deal Desk Analyst Americas Job Description SUSE is seeking a motivated and detail-orientated Junior Deal Desk Analyst to join our expanding Deal Desk Team. This role will act as the bridge between Sales and cross-functional business units such as Legal and Finance. You will be the catalyst for accelerating deals from proposal to close. This high impact role is fast paced and well suited for self-starters.
Responsibilities
- Review large and/or non-standard deals with the role of maximizing deal value, securing approvals, and maintaining alignment with all necessary compliance rules and regulations.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Product to ensure a quick and efficient deal process.
- Analyze and model deal financials, including historical performance, dynamic proposals, and other applicable value-add deal insights.
- Train and support Sales on the Deal Desk process, crash barriers, and best practices for pricing and deal structuring.
- Help to identify process improvements and deal insights to build more competitive proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Deal Desk, Sales, or Revenue Ops is preferred.
- Experience with CRM/ERP tools such as Salesforce. CPQ experience is also preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise software pricing models and contract term negotiations.
- Financial modelling knowledge utilizing Excel and/or Google Sheets.
- Previous experience with SaaS is a plus.
