Job Summary As a Field Engineer 1, you will be a vital team member on large-scale heavy-highway and heavy-civil construction projects. Your role will focus on supporting site operations, maintaining documentation, performing quality control, and providing technical support. Assist in developing project plans and schedules. Contribute to the implementation of project strategies and objectives. Work closely with project teams to facilitate effective communication. Utilize Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for creating and delivering project-related communications. Maintain accurate project documentation, including logs and reports, using Microsoft Word and Excel. Utilize SharePoint and OneDrive for organizing and sharing documentation. Assist in managing relationships with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates using PowerPoint and Excel for presentations. Support budget tracking and cost management activities using Excel and Viewpoint Vista ERP System. Help identify potential budget variances and contribute to cost-saving measures. Ensure compliance with project quality standards and specifications. Use Autodesk AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation for verifying compliance with design documents. Identify and report potential risks to project leads. Apply problem-solving skills to address and mitigate project challenges. Provide support to project team members and assist in fostering a collaborative work environment. Participate in team meetings and contribute to team development initiatives.
